Guide
How pricing works
You pay per download. The price is what the work costs us to run, plus a little, and the editor shows it before you download anything.
The menu
| Line | Price |
|---|---|
| Card processing (Stripe's fee, passed through) | $0.30 + 2.9% |
| Platform floor per download | $0.05 |
| Text step (replace, remove, redact, scrub), per document | $0.01 |
| Mark or page step (watermark, numbers, stamp, rotate...), per document | $0.005 |
| Page processed | $0.001 |
| Clean scan, per page re-rendered | $0.002 |
| Protect with a password, on output | $0.005 |
| Compress, on output | $0.01 |
Totals round up to the next 5¢. One text edit on a 3-page file comes to $0.40, and thirty cents of that is the card fee, so several documents in one download is cheaper than one at a time.
Paying with credit
You top up in $5 steps and each download spends from your balance. If a download costs more than you have, the editor offers the smallest top-up that covers it.
What's free
Viewing, the Inspect panel, and PNG or text downloads of your originals. The local app and CLI are open source and free, with no limits.
While we're testing
Invited testers pay nothing. The editor shows prices anyway, so there are no surprises when billing turns on.
